Cabin was great, very cozy and great location to town. Bathroom floor was a little sketchy but didn’t affect our stay. The river outside the rental was beautiful and the hot tub worked great for us. My biggest gripe is that the amenities were really stingy, they provide 1 roll of toilet paper, only enough dishwasher soap to run one time which they require for checkout, no coffee filters. We ended up having to go to the grocery store twice after finding basic things we needed that weren’t provided. Overall this was a minor annoyance, we loved the rest.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in our little Cabin by the river. With the snow, it was like a dream come true. Everything was great, comfortable, and quite relaxing. It was such a cute cabin with an incredible view of the river. Close enough to everything. They listed all of the amenities….so be sure to read. We ended up having to buy seasonings and things like that because it was not stocked with any of the regular cooking spices. (Of course, it did not say that in the summary, so that’s on us.) Just go prepared with what you need to cook. They provide enough coffee for one pot, a few hand soaps, a small bottle of dish liquid, one packet of dishwasher powder, and that’s about it. You may want to bring washing detergent pods, and be sure to bring your own shampoo and conditioner…..there are no complementary items such as those. This review is merely to keep everyone in the know of what to expect. You will love your stay no matter what.

The broken/loose shower tiles mentioned in prior reviews have been fixed; however, there is some sloping on the bathroom floor at the bedroom door that has caused the floor tiles to be loose/cracked. This did not affect our stay but something to be aware of. Perfect getaway and a lovely place. We would definitely recommend and stay again!

We loved staying here! It was close enough to walk to town, and the days we were hiking it was a treat to come back to the hot tub. I could have spent our whole trip sitting in the reading nook!
The bathroom needs a little refreshing as far as the flooring in the shower; some of the tiles are coming up, but really that was minor. We had an issue with our toilet while were there and the Cabins for You maintenance staff came and repaired the issue in no time while we were mini golfing. We would definitely stay here again!

We stayed at 'On The River' and we can honestly say there wasn't much we could complain about. The place was very clean and you could smell it had just been cleaned. You could tell the couch and other furniture had just been cleaned as well. The only thing that could have been updated was the loose tiles in the shower but that definitely was not a deal breaker at all. You just had to watch out for the loose tiles and place them back in the spot if they knocked loose. The creek was a peaceful touch and was cool to watch and listen to while in the hot tub. Pack extra towels, toilet paper, paper towels etc. It was extremely nice to be able to walk to everything in Gatlinburg. It was still private enough to feel like you were secluded but it was definitely a plus to be able to walk to almost anything. Overall, it was a great trip, great spot and great memories made.

Location was great! We loved being on the River. The cabin was so cozy. We would most certainly stay here again!!
There were only a couple things we had issue with but I will talk to the property management about those. Nothing to discourage anyone from staying here.

We absolutely loved this cute little house! It was right off of the main strip in Gatlinburg, so you're close to everything, but it felt like you were in your own little quiet piece of paradise with the sound of flowing water right out back! The house is small, but a perfect size for my husband and me. We loved the big shower and soaking tub, and the kitchen is just the cutest! I'm sure we would have loved the hot tub as well, but they needed to replace a part while we were staying there, so we never got to use it. The washer/dryer is very small, but we were thankful to have it at least. We were very comfortable the whole time and would definitely be back! Make sure to pack the essentials (hand soap, toilet paper, paper towels, dishwashing detergent, laundry detergent, salt/pepper, oil spray for cooking, etc. as they either don't provide it, or provide just enough for a night or two). Also, there was no streaming available on the TVs, so your options are cable or DVDs.

I give the cabin(cottage) 5 of 5 stars everything was awesome and as listed. I perfect little getaway. The only thing is the gas fireplace never worked and that may be operator error but there were not instructions specific to that fireplace and I did reach out to the manager to ask but recieved a generic instructions set and could never get it to work. Absolutely loved our time spent at the Cabin on the river. Everything about our stay was great! The cabin was well taken care of. It felt very clean and had most of the amenities needed for our stay. The location of the cabin was perfect. Less than half a mile from the start of downtown Gatlinburg. Yet it felt as if we were in the country away from everyone within a ten minute walk. The river running through the back yard was absolutely beautiful. I could have sat there all day long. The hot tub enclosed by a screened in porch was the perfect way to wind down each night. The king sized bed was comfy! All in all, we had an amazing stay. Perfect place for a couple to get away from the fast paced world we all live in. My only complaint is that two days wasn't long enough!! We will be back soon!

This cabin was a dream! Beautifully decorated, cozy and so comfortable. Bed was comfy, tons of hot water for the shower and a fully equipped kitchen. After a long day of hiking and walking around town, it was so nice to come back to this little gem. The pictures online were 100% accurate, but once I saw it in person I could really appreciate the charm. The cabin was very clean and I felt right at home. Next time I’m in town I will definitely book this place again!

This is the cutest little cabin! We had only one bump on the road and that was that GPS took us on our after dark arrival to the less well kept cabin next door- which has no driveway, is a little overgrown with foliage, and marked with “private property” signs all over. After a little confusion we continued one more stop down and happily found this little well kept gem. Bring extra toilet paper (only one roll is provided) and kleenex (none is provided). The coffeemaker isn’t a keurig (in case you wondered as I did!) so you’ll need grounds. The gas fireplace is super cozy and the cabin is comfortable and clean. The river offers a quiet respite from the hustle and bustle of downtown. Oh- and we saw a bear in it on our last morning there, which was so amazing!

The decor was adorable, the reading nook was very cozy and great for watching the River, and the hot tub/soaking tub was just perfect! The drop off down to the river (approximately 6 feet) was very nerve wracking for us since we were traveling with dogs and people were fishing in the river. In the pictures it definitely looks more level with the river. But listening to that peaceful sound made up for it! Our pups eventually learned to stay away from the edge. Being so centrally located was great since we happened to pick a weekend that had a Rod Run in town and traffic was just insane. Because of that, we definitely didn’t get to explore as much of the area as we had planned. So being close to the restaurants, shopping, and Anakeesta park certainly made it much easier to see downtown Gatlinburg! I was glad we splurged for the centralized location! We decided to enjoy the cabin’s amenities more as well which was super relaxing (hello hot tub!) and did not disappoint. They gave us a cute goodies bag, but maybe bring your own things like salt, pepper, extra trash bags, and extra TP if you think you’ll need it for your stay! Overall, we were very happy with our stay and would stay again!

This cabin is absolutely beautiful! We went with the goal to continue our social distancing in nature near the river. This cabin provided just that. We enjoyed cooking in the kitchen and grilling outside (basic charcoal grill without a lid). Given the circumstances of our visit (during COVID19), there were not many other people staying in the cabins next door which allowed us to feel secluded; however, if you were to travel during normal tourist times, you will have neighbors very close by. This might be apparent by looking at the map or reading other reviews but this cabin is essentially in the heart of downtown Gatlinburg which may or may not be what you are looking for. Little side things to note when preparing for you stay: only 1 roll of toilet paper/paper towel is provided so if you have a stay longer than a day or two bring extra, salt and pepper is not included (don't let the shakers fool you), and there is no wine opener (multiple beer openers if that's your thing). To add on to a previous review, the river truly is tantalizing close. If you have intentions of fishing or wading into the river, the current is rapid in front of the cabin and there is approximately an 8 foot drop to it so you will have to travel to better spots to access it. That being said, it was absolutely wonderful to sit outside or in the hot tub and watch/listen to the river. Altogether, it was a beautiful, cozy, romantic cabin and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay! We will be copying some decor ideas for our own home!

This is an amazing location an cabin! It had everything we needed for our 24th anniversary getaway. We could walk to locations in Gatlinburg that we wanted to visit or easily drive to our chosen hiking trails in the park. What amenities are offered in all your cabins?
Each of our cabins has a fully equipped kitchen (refrigerator, stove/oven, and varying countertop appliances), shared living spaces for guests, a dining table and/or breakfast bar for in-cabin dining, and cozy bedrooms. Most feature wireless internet, flatscreen TVs, washers and dryers, decks with wooded or mountain views, and some games or game tables! You can browse by amenity online to find the perfect fit.
What should we bring from home?
You’ll supply your own food, drinks, toiletries, charcoal and lighter fluid (for charcoal grills), propane (for gas grills; check cabin before purchasing), and any other movies or games you’d enjoy on vacation!
We’ll give you a starter supply of:
1 trash bag per container
1 roll of toilet paper per bathroom
1 bar of soap per bathroom
Do you provide bedding and towels?
We provide all linens, along with 1 towel and 1 washcloth per person (based on property sleeps advertised). Many of our cabins have washers and dryers, so it is easy to use only the towels we provide. If your cabin does not have a washer/dryer, you may want to bring extra towels from home.

What is the check-in and checkout process?
Check-in is easy with Cabins for YOU. Each cabin has an electronic keypad, and we’ll supply the unique code for your cabin 2 days before check-in. No keys, no going to an office. You’ll use this to unlock your cabin each time you enter. Checkout is equally simple. Just shut the door behind you as you leave and it will automatically lock!
Check-in/out times: Check-in starts at 4 p.m. EST with guaranteed check-in at 6 p.m. Checkout time is 10 a.m. EST. We can’t guarantee early check-ins or late checkouts, but you can check with your Vacation Specialist. Hourly fees apply for early check-ins.

Cancellation protection is best explained as "the ability to cancel a booking" service. It's not a replacement for RedSky's Travel Insurance, but an additional option for guests to have peace of mind when traveling to Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge, Tennessee.

Guest can cancel for any reason and will be refunded 100% of nightly rents and all fees, excluding cancellation protection, reservation fee and travel insurance.
Refund will be processed immediately but may take up to 7 business days to reflect on guest's banking account.
Overall outdated and/or has worn out elements. There is little to no coordination in furniture and decor. Most furniture items are of lower quality such as cloth couches, laminate countertops, and particle board cabinets.

Silver
Average quality accommodations. Will have some good quality and some low quality elements. Things such as a mixture of flatscreen and tube tvs, good quality furniture but worn out and not consistent, particle board cabinets and laminate countertops with updated appliances, or updated appliances but not consistent. These properties have elements of a Bronze and Gold level.
Gold
Good quality accommodations. These properties are high quality, but all elements might not be considered luxury in nature. There might be more wear on furniture, deck/exterior, etc. TVs are flat screen, but might not be the newest in quality. Might have stone countertops with updated appliances that aren’t stainless steel. These properties have some elements of the Platinum level, but elements are either slightly outdated, worn, or not as high quality.
Platinum
Luxury accommodations. All elements are of high quality, design, and are up-to-date. Consistent furniture and decor in each room. Unique touches such as stone designs, barnwood/shiplap, full log pillars are often found in these properties.
